Peter Duffus, Partner

Peter is a solicitor dealing with claimant personal injury claims usually on a no win, no fee basis. Peter also heads our contentious probate unit and deals with disputed wills and Inheritance Act claims.

Peter's expertise also includes:

• breach of contract claims (including sale of goods)
• professional negligence claims against solicitors, accountants, surveyors and insurance brokers
• disputes relating to the sale of land and boundaries and nuisance

He is also experienced in obtaining injunctions in both the County Court and High Court.

Peter is a council member and past president of Hull Incorporated Law Society. Peter is also treasurer of the Yorkshire Union of Law Societies (YULS). He has lectured on civil procedure and costs to both internal and external audiences.
