Jeff Swales, Partner

A partner with our firm since 1996 , Jeff has over 20 years experience of both civil and criminal litigation. His civil litigation experience comprises a wide range of commercial and contractual disputes and professional negligence claims in the High Court and County Court and the Court of Appeal. He is also a trained mediator and has represented many clients at mediations.

He also undertakes criminal and regulatory work in the Magistrates and Crown Courts mainly for business clients, notably road traffic and transport offences, particularly for road haulage sector clients whom he also represents at Public Inquiries held by the Traffic Commissioners. He also represents clients subject to health & safety, trading standards and environmental health investigations and prosecutions and deals with licensing applications. He has considerable experience of Coroners' Inquests.
